CU renovated and upholstered my Mies Van Der Rohe Bruno chair. They have done a wonderful job on a complicated refurbishment. The leather is beautiful and the workmanship excellent.
Lovely job in recovering two armchairs, including adding more padding to the cushions. Very reasonable considering the work involved. Would definitely recommend.
We’re so pleased with our new-look armchair. Speedy service and a great choice of materials. Highly recommended.

Maiorana Upholstery is a family run business which was established by Alessio Maiorana in 1976. Having worked as an upholsterer in Naples in Italy, Alessio came to England in 1963 and found work at W.G. Undrills in Cambridge. In 1976 he decided to leave to set up his own business. Maiorana Upholstery grew, and as the work came in, he had to employ other staff to help him with the work. After having 2 workshops in the centre of Cambridge, in 1987 the company moved to its present location which is situated in Trumpington, Cambridge. Our workmanship is guaranteed for a period of 12 months from date of completion. We are located in  the heart of Cambridge.

Salvatore fixed a broken chaise longue for me. He was extremely cost sensitive and did a beautiful job. He also is an absolute gentleman with excellent customer service. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his upholstery business.
A first class service from start to finish: six dining chairs speedily reupholstered for a reasonable price, and now looking even better than new. They also gave a free and honest opinion on refurbishing two other wobbly chairs (it could be done, but really not cost-effective). The Maioranas are that rare treasure – reliable and trustworthy craftsmen.
Very impressed. Small, long running company, did a great job and communicated well. Recommended.

I have had an antique chair reupholstered and the outcome is incredible, we are extremely happy. Fairly priced for the work we had done, good communication throughout and just generally a pleasant transaction from start to finish.
Do’n’t go buying a new sofa, it will be saggy like this in no-time. Adrian was fantastic! He brought new life to my 10 years old sofa! Really focused on what I wanted and he seemed keen to give me value for money at all times. He worked really hard to get help us get the sofa done before the weekend, which was hugely appreciated.
Responsive and helpful, did a nice job on my sofa repair.
