The Dobblers Inn

184 Sturton St, Cambridge CB1 2QF, United Kingdom
What We Offer:
The Dobblers Inn, formerly The City Arms, was taken over by CAMRA Investments in 1982 and renamed in 1984. We believe the name is taken from an old local area called ‘Dobblers Hole’ which is located roughly in the Beehive / St Matthews Gardens area just behind Sturton Street. We like to think that a modern day dobbler has grown to mean someone who is friendly, loud and outgoing, who thrives on community life whilst socialising in a relaxed environment. You will certainly still find some ‘colourful, eccentric and unusual characters’ frequenting this drinking hole.
SPECIALITY:

Enjoy spirits and cocktails expertly complemented by a simple, elegant food menu. Join us for a cosy table for two, a celebratory drink at the bar, or a special, fully catered function.

On a visit to Cambridge found this bar just in time to watch the last day of Premiership. Good coverage of City, Liverpool and Leeds games. Friendly pub with good atmosphere.
Ordered a pizza to and it was very greasy.
Great staff and great service, went here on Saturday 17th April.

Six Bells

11 Covent Garden, Petersfield, Cambridge CB1 2HS, United Kingdom
What We Offer:

The Six Bells is a traditional local Cambridge pub off Mill Road which has been in Cambridge for over a century. The pub is deceptively large with the two wood panelled front bars leading onto a conservatory with comfy sofas, and a pool room. At the rear there is a patio garden. We have a pool table, dartboard and a great jukebox. Free wireless broadband access.  We serve five real ales, a choice of lagers, Guinness and cider as well as wines, spirits and soft drinks, and possibly the best Guinness in town! We also have a wide range of wines, spirits and minerals.

Enjoy spirits and cocktails expertly complemented by a simple, elegant food menu. Join us for a cosy table for two, a celebratory drink at the bar, or a special, fully catered function.

Fantastic place to sink a few loved it. It’s a really traditional old style back street English pub right down to the smell and the quirky deco.

The Queens Head

Fowlmere Rd, Newton, Cambridge CB22 7PG, United Kingdom
What We Offer:

The Queen’s Head welcomes cyclists, dogs, families, walkers, groups and individuals, everyone really. We have a large and funky Cyclehoop bike rack beside our terrace, a non-smoking beer garden (with easy access to the village green and playground just out of the gate), a Public Bar and games room inside, and a smaller, more intimate Saloon Bar. Being a small and traditional pub, we generally operate on an easy first come, first served basis. However, we do like to accommodate reservations for special occasions, groups of 6 and above, or other specific circumstances.

Fantastic do not ever change this pub back to basics .will try the brown soup next visit.beer from the barrel 😋 mmmm.
My favourite pub in the UK! The best ale you’ll find outside a brewery and incredible soup and sandwiches to boot. A traditional pub, with rich character and friendly staff
Brown soup all the way. Simple honest menu, with real home cooked menu. None of your frozen “brake brothers” ping food here. Classic old village pub. Friendly staff. Honest food. I would recommend this place.
