The lady that owns this florist went above and beyond in a lockdown situation to source and meet my request for a basket of hyacinths to be delivered to a very special friend who was very ill in the Arthur Rank Hospice.
With not being local to Radhika Flowers but needing to organise three lots of funeral flowers, the funeral parlour recommended this florist & I must say, it’s been so smooth sailing from the first point of contact which carried on through email communication with our ideas and requests!
I wanted to send some ‘same day delivery’ flowers for my Mum. I know that now is a difficult time for florists as you are relying on overseas suppliers in the midst of a pandemic, and was prepared for her bouquet to arrive when available.

What We Offer:

The Flower Project was founded in Feb 2020 by Clare Cook who saw a gap in the market and wanted to create a florists that had a low impact on the environment and constantly strive to do better. We opened a physical shop in October 2020 on Mill Road in Cambridge. Our environmental impact is really important to us and we understand the environmental impact the floristry industry has as a whole, from the intensive farming to the carbon emissions of transporting the flowers. This is why we think we feel we have a social responsibility to reduce our impact. Flowers are taken from wedding bouquets and preserved in either a frame or embedded in resin enabling you to keep your flowers forever.

When my husband and I got married in a six-person civil ceremony in April, I couldn’t wear my proper wedding dress because COVID restrictions meant it couldn’t be altered. We sent the Flower Project a photo of my dress and they put together a beautiful seasonal bouquet that really elevated the experience and made me feel more like a bride.
Working with Clare for our wedding was a brilliant experience from start to end. Clare was great at getting a feel for what we wanted, was really flexible as we worked through details and the flowers on the day were absolutely stunning – we had so many comments about how beautiful they were
