What We Offer:

Founded by Artur de sa Barretto and his wife Menna van Prague in April 2009 we have been serving vegan and vegetarian food in the heart of Cambridge ever since. This technically makes us the oldest vegan and vegetarian eatery in Cambridge,. We have always tried to stick to buying our produce from local independent suppliers as much as possible. We get most our veg from brothers Nick and Tony down at Hilary’s Wholesale. After starting off as a green grocers on Mill Road things took off and they started supplying the catering industry and retail. They’re still independent and family run which is why we love them! And the fact they do some really great fruit and veg.

Amazingly good falafel. Entirely vegan apart from the halloumi which you can easily avoid.
I totally recommend Taste of Cambridge. If you happen to be nearby, it is worth giving it a try. Their falafel is one of the best I have eaten. I have been a client for almost five years and never noticed a decline in quality. They use fresh ingredients and the portions are generous. 5 stars from me, as the falafel wraps they offer have been consistently delicious and of high quality.
Falafel is delicious and staff is friendly. Their customer service can’t be beat. I’ve come here 50+ times over my 4 years of phd and every time is an absolute delight.

Brilliant, tasty vegan food done right. Small plates with a mix of different cuisines. Great cocktails with lots of variety. There isn’t much competition for vegan restaurants in Cambridge so I didn’t have high hopes going in, but Tipsy vegan really blew my expectations out of the water.

Delicious, filling food served by lovely friendly people. When I came, I had the excellent brunch. The tofu bacon and eggs were really tasty, and a pleasant departure from my usual favourite vegan fare. The portion was good, and there was no problem in substituting an item. The oat milk flat white was silky yet still strong enough for my 10am visit! Fresh orange juice also great.

The fact it’s vegan only helps to solidify how awesome it is. Finally a place vegans in Cambridge and surrounding area can take their non-vegan mates put to without it being a burger and sober.

Lovely plant based cafe! Love their dishes and desserts! Definitely recommend their falafel waffle and tofu waffle. Hazelnut hot chocolate with oat milk is amazing.
Vegetarian done right, one of my deserts was vegan, but I couldn’t tell which one! Great atmosphere savory was also great but forgot to take picture as appetite took over. Just good food with no meat, I didn’t miss it, I just enjoyed the food.
